The Piena chair by Tapio Anttila Collection is a modern take on the traditional Windsor chair. The spindles of the backrest are joined at the top by a narrow leather strip, which allows the backrest to adapt comfortably to the sitter's back. The seat is gently contoured for added comfort. The Piena chair received the international GOOD DESIGN® Award in 2022.
The chair with a black frame and an oak seat is a limited-edition version of the Piena chair. The seat of the chair is made of lacquered solid oak. The legs and backrest spindles are made of black-painted solid birch. The leather strap on the backrest is made of natural-coloured bonded leather, which is 90% recycled natural material.
